About the Webinar

Bristol Media are hosting a free webinar with specialist commercial, media & technology lawyer and Founder of Steer & Co, Rebecca Steer, to help small creative businesses understand the legal implications surrounding Covid-19. 

Rebecca will share knowledge on the key legal issues and considerations affecting your business and provide practical advice to support your decision-making. We’ll cover: 

  • Business contracts and services – changes to client contracts, failure to deliver projects, clients pausing projects or terminating contracts; and what to do if a client doesn’t pay. How to manage supplier contracts and services.
  • Practical advice on employment law – current issues and risks, home working, staff self-isolating, SSP, furloughing your staff.
  • How to look after your regular freelancers during this time.
  • Q&A on particular issues facing agencies and creative businesses.

Rebecca is also offering attendees a free 30-minute follow-up session if you have further queries that you’d prefer to discuss in confidence.

Directors of creative businesses with more than 2 employees. The session is available to Bristol Media members only.
