We have an exciting new opportunity for an Editorial Assistan to join our PracticeWEB team

The editorial assistant will support in all areas of PracticeWEB's content products and services.

The role offers opportunities to develop writing and editing skills across a range of print and online products.


Person specification

The right candidate will be responsible for sourcing and writing business news stories, promoting these stories on social media and planning and implementing email newsletters.

Updating existing online content to ensure accuracy is a key part of this role. As such, the editorial assistant will become fluent in our content management system.

The editorial assistant will also help in all stages of the publication of print material, including monthly articles and annual reports. This will involve editing, proofreading and fact checking to ensure accuracy and quality.

In time the role will develop to include client copywriting projects, including website copy and blogs.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Source and write business news stories.
Upload the news using the content management system.
Promoting news stories on social media.
Plan, edit, and implement a fortnightly email newsletter.
Assist with all stages of monthly and annual publishing, including proofreading, fact checking, editing, page layouts and sourcing images.
Update existing content across our network of websites.
Assist with content queries from clients.
Become involved in client copywriting projects and blogging.
