Job description

An experienced digital creative with a strong understanding of social platforms and the wider digital world. Your focus will be developing idea-driven concepts, campaigns and visual direction for a wide range of brands across multiple platforms, both on and off line. Though your experience will be rooted in the visual world, with an ability to produce scamps, mood-boards and provide clear art direction, you will have the opportunity to work beyond the confines of the creative department to see these through to delivery.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead the creative response to and the visual direction of new business pitches, communications-led campaigns and a wide rage of digital projects.
  • Ucture creative ideas into campaign narrative and work collaboratively with the wider agency team including UX, design, editorial and technology throughout the end to end project process to deliver on them.
  • Present ideas and direction to the creative director, clients and members of the management and executive team.
  • Direct, critique and work alongside team members to shape and deliver work.
  • Collaborate with external experts across technology, animation, illustration and video to deliver ideas to the highest possible quality.nderstand the implications of conceptual responses to campaigns, pitches and projects across multiple platforms (from Facebook to Pinterest) and build this into recommendations.

Knowledge and experience

  • Educated to degree standard.
  • Significant experience working in digitally-driven agencies as a creative or concept-driven art-director, across a broad range of platforms, technologies and brands.
  • A portfolio of projects with strong communication concepts developed and delivered across digital platforms and beyond.
  • Broad experience of collaboration and commissioning; working with illustrators, technologists, directors or stylists.
  • Solid design skills – not pixel perfect design – with ability to scamp and set.
  • Wide knowledge of digital communication platforms from Facebook to Pinterest and demonstrable ability to use them effectively within campaigns.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Additional specialisms welcome – an understanding of interaction design, brand strategy, front-end development codes, typography etc.
