We have an exciting new opportunity for a full time Product Visualiser / Designer (ideally with 3D experience) to come and join TomatoSource. If you love films and stories and are passionate about putting great product in the hands of consumers and would relish the opportunity to immerse yourself in a world where you can be a big kid in an adult body, then you really should apply!
Perhaps you are currently working within the creative side of the retail licensing world already, the film industry, the promotional marketing or even classic design sector - what we need you to do is help us ‘make believe in the real world’ with pixel perfect product visuals everytime.
We make believe in the real world. Working with the largest entertainment and film studios across the globe, we translate on-screen film and television franchises into tangible products for consumers.
Ever wanted a Lightsaber of your own? We’ve made that happen.
Ever wondered how to take the under sea world of Nemo and Dory into the sky? We’ve made that happen.
Ever wanted to know how we have taken Brollies to Brollywood? Just ask!?
And if footfall isn’t enough, our products create queues.
Working directly with the likes of Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel, Viacom International and Turner Broadcasting (not to mention their promotional partners such as P&G, Unilever, O2, Lufthansa and many more), we are utterly bonkers about getting the consumer to experience their make believe in the real world.
Put simply, we concept, design and manufacture products that make that happen. Our work covers a wide range of strategic and tactical activities in areas such as film and franchise activation, retail range development, sales promotion and experiential.
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 9am through to 5.30pm.
Please send your CV and folio to: firstname.lastname@example.org (Max 8mb)
(Sorry but only successful applicants will be contacted)
As we continue to grow we need an experienced Product Visualiser / Designer (ideally with 3D experience) to help ensure that our output is the best out there. Typically working with our Creative Lead, you will assist from the outset in developing creative ideas, translating them through to physical products and then producing stunning visual work (with a discipled approach to file management) for some of the top global film and entertainment companies – at all times. This role is a critical cog in our company’s creative output.
Getting your hands on the latest style guides and assets for the biggest forthcoming films out there, immersing yourself in it, the film, the story, the franchise, the consumer and often a partner brand too - then marrying the whole thing up visually to develop a fresh and exciting product range and taking that through to artwork.
Though there is a wider studio team to bounce your ideas off, along with the continuing support from the Creative Lead, you must be able to deliver autonomously if needed.
A passion for film, tv content, the evolving world of licensed products and our creative role within this, is essential. So you are most likely to have a strong background in working within the licensed retail or product sector already.
This is a busy role where you will need to be able to take ownership and juggle lots of projects all at the same time - it’s certainly not a role for the faint hearted! We are a relatively small team, but one team.
Valid UK driving licence is a requirement along with a valid passport which will allow for global travel.
We are looking for someone who ‘gets’ stories, understands consumer trends in the world of product, is proactive in anticipating project requirements and willing to go the extra mile to delight our clients and add value. It’s really important to emphasise that a passion for the evolving world of licensed products and our creative role within this is essential.
The Key Responsibilities:

Best Practice – working closely with other members of the company to help our creative standard excel
Professional and Technical Experience:
- Strong retail product design or licensed product merchandise design background
- Comprehensive experience in using creative software to deliver photo-realistic product visuals and imagery (a technical wizard in Adobe Creative Cloud - with a specifically high level of skill in-Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign - the perfect candidate would be able to demonstrate experience in creating 3D visuals and output to 3D print)
